Thanet Primary Schools First Cross-Country Race
October 28th 2009

Last Saturday saw the first of three cross country races, the first of which took place at Newington Primary school. St Laurence has entered this event for the first time and I was very encouraged by a healthy 17 runners, not bad for a first attempt!

Although many of the schools had larger numbers of competitors, with Upton, for example, having 153 runners, what St Laurence lacked for in numbers we made up for with our enthusiasm.

Les Riggs Trophy
